PAMUKKALE TOUR

The Pamukkale tour from Antalya is a one-day cultural tour where you will see the ancient city of Hierapolis and the world-famous Pamukkale travertines.

Pamukkale, a charming district of Denizli, is approximately 230 km from Antalya. Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis are known as one of the oldest thermal cities in the world. On this trip, we set off early in the morning. After having breakfast in the morning, we will visit Kaklık Cave and then proceed to Pamukkale Travertines. After visiting the ancient city of Hierapolis to the fullest, those who wish will be able to enter the Cleopatra Pool with a water temperature of 36 degrees for 1 hour.

Kaklık Cave

Kaklık Cave, which is about 30 km from the city center, is named after Kaklık Town in Honaz district. Kaklık Cave is one of the first visit points of our extraordinary trip.

In addition to the columns and stalagmites inside, it has structures similar to the travertines in Pamukkale. There is also plenty of thermal water in Kaklık Cave. After spending some time here, we turn our route to our main stop, the Ancient City of Hierapolis.

Ancient City of Hierapolis

Located right next to the Pamukkale Travertines, Hierapolis is one of the favorite places to visit with its splendor. Founded by Eumenes II, one of the Begama Kings, this ancient city has been a favorite place for those seeking healing and beauty from many parts of Anatolia. After a detailed tour of the ancient city, we move on to the travertines.

Pamukkale Travertines

Travertines, a very rich place in terms of thermal water, is one of the unique naturally formed places in Pamukkale. This is a favorite place where people have been coming for more than 2300 years to find healing. Pamukkale Travertines are said to be good for dry and itchy skin diseases. There are a total of 17 thermal water sources between 35-100 C in this region. After our time in the travertines, we go to Garson Şükrü for dinner.

At Garson Şükrü, one of the best restaurants in Denizli, you may experience tandoori kebab and at the same time taste many other local dishes. (dinner is not included in the tour program)
